    From: Bryan Hynicka

    To the members of PSCA,

It has been a pleasure serving as president of the PSCA for many years. However, I have elected to step down as president because of other interests that keep me from doing this task to the best of my ability. Thank you for having faith in the Board and myself throughout the years. Without the help of those involved, including my wife, I would not have been as successful in my role as president.

Its time for all of PSCA shooters to realize that the Board and I have given you the best State Shoot in the country. Stop complaining and turn the complaints into a positive voice or way to help. Get young shooters, fellow hunters or your wives involved in the sport. Go out and shoot to enjoy yourselves and have fun.

The PSCA has a good Board with many great ideas. Let the Board do their role so you can do yours (shoot!). All things that have been established by the PSCA are for everyone including the clubs.

I have said enough. Enjoy the rest of the shoot, have fun, and shoot well.

    Bryan T. Hynicka

From: Mike Hampton Jr. - Director NSCA

    To: PSCA Board

I just wanted to get back with you on the state by-laws. You probable already heard about the outcome from the most recent Advisory Council meeting held earlier this month, but if you have not here goes. It was decided that the Criteria that was told to everyone to be mandatory was not correct. It is only a recommendation. We would like for all states to try and implement as many of these items as possible into there state by-laws, but it is not a mandate. It was discussed and voted on to send the delegates a ballot to vote on weather or not a shooter must pay to be a member of his state association. This is a ballot that will be sent out to all delegates. I hope that gives you more insight on the current situation. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to send me an email. Thanks!

    Michael Hampton Jr.

    NSCA Director

The NSCA & Advisory Council have released a new model by-laws for state associations. The board will be reviewing and discussing this new model at our next few meetings.

Our by-laws must be changed at a state meeting - so July at Critter Path would be our first opportunity to change them.

That means that the PSCA will be operating as usual for 2005.

We will keep you posted on any proposed changes.

  • Dec 12, 2004

The 2005 State and Zone Dates have been set. Note: the West is early next year.

  • Aug 20, 2004

The PSCA board has set the dues for OUT OF STATE CLUBS to $75 beginning in 2005.

  • Mar 31, 2004

This section will be used by the PSCA to communicate with shooters. Check here for notes from the board concerning various PSCA topics.
